So is affirmative action. In the age of Trump, there is an urgency among the liberal entertainment industry to push diversity. It's temporary and skin-deep only. But works while it works.

I'm anti-Trump. But I'm also anti diversity for diversity's sake. Diversity in the US right now is becoming a conscious equation, hardly an act of color-blindness. Look at "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" and its calculated balance of diversity. Only one white protagonist. And she has to be female.

Basically, if you are a Mexican or Muslim entertainment performer, you have a MUCH better chance at making it in the US right now than before Trump.  I simply don't see this as a healthy path towards color-blindness though.
