To be honest, I like it more when the tracklists are all available under the artists page instead of clicking on individual albums. The only benefit might be seeing all the credits of each individual song, but that doesn't seems like it is completely necessary for every single CD released ever to get its own page. Maybe the approach should be for each artist should have pages like this:

I personally don't think the motivation is political; wikipedia has some very complicated community standards.

Then I guess the problem doesn't come from Wikipedia but the fact that most album pages don't have any of those things. Which comes from the fact that there aren't much prominent album reviews in traditional journalism. Which is definitely worth discussing, but I guess I don't see a problem with wikipedia deleting those pages when the things you say aren't there.
I agree wholeheartedly about the 大陆简体 issue.
