Yes, I think this would be my first change as well.
My second change is no cut-off for the top 200 (but maybe expand to top 250). I think having a cut-off for the top 200 actually made it easier for artists like Eason and Endy to get all 5 songs in. If we let all 8 or 9 of their songs into the final vote, it would probably be harder for fans to rally around songs like 海裡睡人 / 守口如瓶 as their previous favorites were already eliminated.
My 3rd change would be to have some limit for the final 100. Perhaps no limit for the top 50, and then a 3 per artists rule afterwards. So the songs cut under this idea would be 山林道, 分手總約在雨天, 海裡睡人, 一絲不掛, 今生不回家, 守口如瓶. It may be a little sad to see some of these go, but a more diverse song list is probably better overall.
Anyways, just some ideas in my head. Overall, I think we did a wonderful job. Thanks again to all involved. |
