提名原因：The song shows that Bianca can sing well beyond Jazz. Her ever soft voice and soulful performance are perfect match for this song. Bianca does not have many pop songs in her discography, but this is the one that touches my heart the most.

提名原因：As far as a concept album is concerned this one really comes in full circle. Start with 被窩 (end of winter), 春眠不覺曉 (start of spring) to 冬至 (end of winter), the album shows through songs that being in love, growing up, enjoying the environment, living in the moments are all wonderful experience in life. An underrated Cantopop album in 2014.

提名原因：Kary is one of the Cantopop dancing queens no doubt. But she has a few brilliant love ballads and this is one of them. To top it off, Kary is one of the composers for this song with lyricist 藍奕邦 being such a great storyteller, and Kary's emotional performance, this is my favourite Cantopop song in 2013. This song has taught me, when love is gone, letting it go and moving on is the bravest thing to do.

提名原因：Ivana does not have to be alternative all the time. Sometimes a simple song features her vocal really does the trick. Pleasantly surprised I must say, is her softly softly approach in singing this song (without her trade mark cutie voice), yet the powerful message of this song really come through.

提名原因：I did not think Mag could handle Mandarin song very well but I was wrong. Yes, her pronunciation needed improvement but this song shows me that Mag could be soulful too. I think maybe she was going through something in her personal love life when she recorded this song, as her emotion really shows through it.

提名原因：Simple harmonica & guitar sound + Miriam's emotional performance give this otherwise average love song extra spark and life. Miriam is a brilliant actress, which is why she is such a great storyteller in her songs. Everybody yearns for a loving relationship but true love is ever elusive, the love-hate relationship between people and the concept of love really show through Miriam's emotional performance, with a hint of sadness.

提名原因：AGA has written songs for a few singers. This is by far my favourite. Ella is an underrated singer. Her voice, as YY said has a substance that is quite unique. It might be a usual breakup song but with Ella putting her magical touch, it's not sadness but the strength to move on is what I feel from the song.

提名原因：Sometimes familiarity is the best, in this case, I welcome the Janice that we've known from the very beginning. Yes, it's a Korean cover song. Yes, it's a K-song. But the usual powerful and emotional performance that we have known and loved for years was just what I needed at the time. It taught me love takes effort and patience.

提名原因：Vivian is an underrated singer. It seems that every year, there is THAT one sad love song that captures my heart. This is the one in 2015. The melody is not complicate, it's simple but smooth. Maybe lyrically it's a bit 大路, but Vivian's 又無奈又感慨的 performance made it for me.

提名原因：Anchored with simple guitar sound and Ellen's emotional vocal, this is one of my favourite Mandopop songs in 2015. Maybe this song has given us some tell tale signs of where Ellen was at back then. It also helped me go through a hard time back then. Hearing it now of course makes me miss her even more. I can feel Ellen's sadness throughout the song, but it's great music like this makes Ellen's legacy continue.

提名原因：Jade wanted to break free from her goodie goodie image and created a new identity "C-12" in 2014. She had mild success but I wished she would continue with C-12 for a little longer. 揀一個死法, 被注射, 愈來愈正常 are quite foreign to Jade but she handled with flying colour. Musically, it's also a break through for her with more dance tracks in a 專輯 than slow songs. The only slow track 罪名, she plays the role of a mistress. Surprisingly, she was able to pull off "sexy". C-12 is really one of Jade's better EPs/albums to date. |
